LA Miel Aesthetics was created by Adriana Sandoval. Adriana is Originally from Guatemala with Lebanese roots. Adriana created La Miel Aesthetics honoring her grandmother. Her grandmother was a woman who believed that wellness and skin care was an important part of mental health and overall wellbeing. Adriana’s grandmother use to call her “dulce como la miel” la miel means honey in spanish. La Miel Aesthetics is intended to mean (stay sweet like honey).
La Miel Aesthetics is a small, cozy, boutique-style practice where every client is treated like family. As a woman-led, family-owned business, we believe beauty and wellness should always feel personal, warm, and welcoming. Our goal is to create a space where patients feel comfortable, cared for, and truly seen never rushed or treated like just another appointment. At La Miel, relationships matter, and we take pride in providing thoughtful, personalized care in an intimate and inviting environment.

La Miel Aesthetics is co-owned and operated by Adriana Sandoval Veliz. Adriana entered the field of aesthetics because she has a passion for helping her clients feel youthful and refreshed, both inside and out. She has an eye for detail and a graceful, steady hand to help clients achieve their perfect vision of themselves. Just as important, Adriana takes the time to teach her clients and gives them the ability to make an educated and well-thought-out decision regarding their skincare treatment solutions. La Miel Aesthetics’ philosophy is that treatments should not simply provide a quick fix or a cover-up. Rather, the goal is to promote long-term, sustainable skin health.
Adriana is married with three beautiful daughters. In her free time, Adriana enjoys working out, painting, taking walks with her dog, Diego, and traveling with her family. Adriana set out to open La Miel Aesthetics because she believes that everyone deserves to feel beautiful, and nothing brings her more satisfaction than making a difference in someone’s life!
Adriana began her nursing education at East Coast Polytechnic Institute, where she earned her degree in nursing, and continued at Chamberlain University of Nursing, where she obtained her master's degree. She has experience in both acute care medicine and plastic surgery and aesthetics. She goes beyond to ensure that she has the education and abilities necessary to do all procedures appropriately for each of her patients, and she continues to do so even after completing training. She received considerable training from Empire Medical Training and Aesthetic Medical Educators Training (AMET), where she acquired all her master certifications. She also intends to continue broadening her abilities and knowledge to better serve her patients.

Kim is a skilled Medical Assistant at La Miel Aesthetics who brings warmth, precision, and a genuine passion for patient care to every treatment she performs. Originally from South Africa, Kim combines her strong medical background with advanced aesthetic training to help clients feel confident and cared for throughout their experience. She has a special love for laser treatments—especially laser hair removal—and enjoys helping patients achieve smoother, healthier skin with safe and effective technology. As a medical assistant, Kim is highly knowledgeable in patient preparation, clinical support, and treatment protocols, ensuring every visit runs smoothly and comfortably. Her calm demeanor, attention to detail, and dedication to results make her a valued part of the La Miel team. Outside of the clinic, Kim loves spending time with her German Shepherd, who keeps her active and entertained. Patients quickly appreciate her friendly personality, professionalism, and commitment to helping them look and feel their best.

Dr. Susan Lovelle, a seasoned physician, leverages her expansive experience spanning over thirty years in the medical field. Educated and trained in General and Plastic Surgery in New York City, she successfully managed a robust private practice for over two decades. During her illustrious career, she specialized in a diverse array of procedures, encompassing cosmetic surgeries for the face and body, alongside intricate breast reconstructive surgeries and Mohs surgery for facial cancer patients.Since the early years of her plastics practice, she owned and operated her own medspa. Beginning as the sole provider, she expanded the practice, overseeing nurse injectors and offering a comprehensive suite of aesthetic procedures. Dr. Susan’s aesthetic expertise includes administering Botox and various neuromodulators, along with a variety of fillers such as Restylane, Sculptra, Juvederm, Radiuses, and Voluma. Her proficiency extends to laser treatments, including hair removal and resurfacing therapies like CO2 laser. She is well-versed in skin peels, ranging from mild fruit acids to TCA, as well as dermabrasion and deeper procedures. Her medspa provided body contouring procedures like laser lipolysis, along with less invasive therapies such as red light and ultrasonic fat reduction.In 2019, Dr. Susan further diversified her skills by completing training in Functional Medicine, marking a significant transition toward holistic health. In the realm of Lifestyle Medicine, Dr. Lovelle-Allen offers weight loss solutions, including semaglutide and tirzipatide, as well as IV hydration and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT).With a track record of serving as the Medical Director for her private practice and Medspa, Dr. Susan is currently a Collaborating Physician for a PA in Holistic Health in North Carolina. Her multifaceted experience and commitment to holistic health make Dr. Susan Lovelle a valuable collaborator for any medical spa or practice.
