Adriana Sandoval Veliz is the founder and lead injector at La Miel Aesthetics. She entered aesthetics because she wanted to help patients feel youthful and refreshed, inside and out, with the kind of detail-oriented, steady-handed care that produces natural-looking, sustainable results. She named the practice La Miel after her grandmother, who called her dulce como la miel, meaning sweet like honey.

Philosophy

Personal
Adriana is Guatemalan with Lebanese roots. She is married with three daughters and a dog named Diego. In her free time, she enjoys working out, painting, walks with Diego, and traveling with her family.

Dr. Susan Lovelle serves as Medical Director of La Miel Aesthetics. Her career spans more than thirty years in clinical medicine, with decades of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, advanced aesthetic care, and more recently, functional and lifestyle medicine.

Dr. Lovelle currently serves as Medical Director at La Miel Aesthetics, guiding clinical protocols across injectables, regenerative medicine, medical weight loss, and wellness services. She is also founder and CEO of Balanced Performance, a platform equipping executive leaders with tools for holistic well-being. She has been featured on platforms including Forbes and DWEN.

Kimberleigh Emanuel is La Miel's medical assistant, supporting Adriana and Dr. Lovelle across treatments with a particular focus on laser care. A 2025 graduate of medical assistant training, she is currently completing her esthetician certification with expected completion in August 2026, and is on track for NHA (National Healthcareer Association) certification by the end of 2026. Her favorite part of the work is laser hair removal and facial laser treatments, where she gets to see the results unfold session over session for La Miel's patients.
