Peptides, used responsibly.

Peptide therapy in Raleigh NC at La Miel Aesthetics, prescribed by our medical director and sourced only from licensed compounding pharmacies. Our peptide menu is intentionally narrow: BPC-157 for recovery, CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin for growth-hormone supportive use, GHK-Cu for skin and hair, and a small set of well-studied supportive peptides. We do not offer peptides outside the regulatory pathway, and we screen every patient before prescribing.

What this is

What peptides are and why we are careful

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. Specific peptides regulate tissue repair, hormone release, immune function, and other physiological processes. Therapeutic peptide use has been an active area of research and clinical practice for decades, but the regulatory landscape in the United States is evolving.

Some peptides are FDA-approved drugs (semaglutide, for example, is technically a peptide). Many others are compounded and dispensed by licensed compounding pharmacies under physician prescription. A handful of peptides have been removed from the FDA bulk substances list in recent years, restricting compounding access. La Miel only prescribes peptides that are currently allowed under FDA and state-board guidelines, and only from licensed compounding pharmacies.

We deliberately keep our peptide menu narrow. The peptides we offer have meaningful clinical literature, reasonable safety profiles, and clear use cases. We do not recommend or prescribe peptides outside that framework.

At La Miel

Our peptide menu

Each peptide is prescribed only after a physician medical intake. We map your goals, screen contraindications, and design a cycle with clear endpoints.

  • BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound)

A peptide derived from a gastric protein, used for tissue recovery and gut healing support. 4 to 8 week cycles, daily subcutaneous injection. Used by patients with athletic injuries, GI repair needs, or post-procedure recovery.

Suited for: Patients with tendon / ligament strain, GI repair goals, or post-procedure recovery.

  • CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin

A combination peptide that stimulates the body's own growth hormone release pathway. Daily evening subcutaneous injection. Cycled in 3 to 6 month courses with breaks. Supportive use for body composition, sleep quality, and recovery in older patients.

Suited for: Patients with age-related GH decline goals, used cautiously and with cycling.

  • GHK-Cu (copper peptide)

A copper-binding peptide with well-studied skin and hair benefits. Available as topical serum or as injection depending on goals. Continuous use is safe.

Suited for: Skin quality, scalp / hair support, post-procedure healing.

  • Semaglutide / Tirzepatide (peptide-class drugs)

These are FDA-recognized peptide drugs that we cover on their own treatment pages. Linked from this menu for completeness.

Suited for: Medical weight loss patients.
