Biostimulators
Radiesse, volume today and collagen tomorrow.
Radiesse in Raleigh NC is the Merz biostimulator that works as both an immediate volumizer and a long-term collagen stimulator. Radiesse (calcium hydroxylapatite) has been FDA-approved since 2006 and is uniquely dual-purpose. Standard Radiesse provides instant volume plus gradual collagen over 12 to 18 months. Hyperdilute Radiesse focuses on skin quality, tightening, and texture improvement on the neck, hands, décolleté, and knees.

What this is
Standard Radiesse vs. Hyperdilute Radiesse
Standard Radiesse is thick and robust. Provides immediate volume the day of treatment, plus gradual collagen stimulation over 12 to 18 months. Ideal for jawline contouring, chin projection, deeper nasolabial folds, and hand rejuvenation.
Hyperdilute Radiesse is Radiesse diluted with saline or lidocaine. Less volumizing, more skin-quality focused. Ideal for the neck, décolleté, hands, and knees, where traditional volumizing filler would look wrong but collagen stimulation is desired.
Both work via the same mechanism. The difference is concentration and intended effect.

Reduces prominence of tendons and veins on the back of the hands. FDA-approved indication.
Suited for: Patients self-conscious about hand aging.
Neck and décolleté (hyperdilute)
Improves skin quality, crepey texture, and mild laxity on the neck and chest. Often combined with microneedling for amplified effect.
Suited for: Patients with sun-aged neck and chest skin.
Knees and arms (hyperdilute)
Off-label use for crepey skin on the knees and inner upper arms. Multiple sessions recommended.
