Lips naturally thin with age as collagen and volume decline, and the border of the lip becomes less defined. Some people simply have thinner or uneven lips and want more balance.

Soft hyaluronic acid fillers made for the lips, such as Juvederm and Restylane Kysse, are placed in small, deliberate amounts to restore shape, hydration, and proportion. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved if needed.
What to know about lip filler results
Lip filler can enhance, define, or restore natural fullness. We use soft hyaluronic acid fillers made for the lips, including Juvederm Ultra and Restylane Kysse, which is built to flex with your face so lips look filled without feeling stiff.
You see improvement right away, and the final look settles at 2 weeks once swelling is gone. Expect mild swelling for 1 to 5 days, longer in the lips than other areas, and possible bruising. Lip enhancement is typically 1 syringe, and lip fillers typically last 9 to 12 months, because constant movement metabolizes filler faster.
You should still look like you when you talk, smile, and kiss.

Day 0
Treatment
15 to 60 minutes depending on the areas, with topical numbing first. You see the change right away.
Day 1 to 5
Swelling settles
Swelling for 1 to 5 days, longer in the lips, and bruising is possible. Avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours.
Week 2
Final look
Swelling is gone and the result has settled. This is the result to judge.
Months later
