Botox and Neurotoxins
Crow's Feet Botox Before and After
Crow's feet are the fine lines that fan out from the corners of the eyes when you smile or squint. A small amount of neurotoxin softens them while keeping your smile natural and warm.

What are crow's feet?
Crow's feet, also called lateral canthal lines, are the lines that spread out from the outer corners of the eyes. They form as the orbicularis oculi, the ring of muscle around the eye, contracts every time you smile, laugh, or squint.
The skin around the eyes is thin, so years of expression and sun exposure make these lines among the first to appear and the first to stay visible at rest.
How we treat crow's feet
Small amounts of neurotoxin placed at the outer corner of each eye relax the muscle just enough to soften the lines. Botox Cosmetic is FDA-approved for crow's feet. The goal is a rested look that keeps the warmth of your smile.
Fine crepey texture under and around the eyes is skin, not muscle, so some patients pair neurotoxin with skin treatments such as gentle laser resurfacing.

Crow's Feet: common questions
It should not. The dose is kept small and placed at the outer corner of the eye, so the lines soften while your smile stays natural.
