Botox and Neurotoxins
Forehead Lines Botox Before and After
Horizontal forehead lines come from years of raising the brows. Neurotoxin relaxes the forehead muscle so the lines soften while your brows keep natural movement.

What are forehead lines?
Forehead lines are the horizontal lines that run across the forehead. They form because the frontalis, the muscle that lifts the brows, folds the skin above it every time you look surprised, talk, or raise your eyebrows.
At first the lines show only with movement. With time, sun exposure, and skin that loses collagen, they start to stay visible at rest. These are called dynamic lines when they come from movement and static lines once they stay.
How we treat forehead lines
Neurotoxin relaxes the frontalis so the skin above it stops folding as deeply. The forehead is dosed with care, because the same muscle holds the brows up: the goal is softer lines with brows that still move.
Lines that stay visible at rest often soften over repeated treatments. Some patients add skin treatments such as laser resurfacing or microneedling to work on the skin itself.
