Frown Lines Botox Before and After

What are frown lines?
Frown lines, often called the 11s or glabellar lines, are the vertical lines between the eyebrows. Two small muscle groups, the corrugators and the procerus, pull the brows together and down when you frown, squint, or concentrate.
Because those muscles work all day, the lines can deepen and stay visible at rest, giving a stern or worried look that does not match how you feel.
How we treat frown lines
Neurotoxin relaxes the muscles that pull the brows together, so the 11s and the stern look soften. Frown lines are the area neurotoxins were first approved for in aesthetics, and all four neurotoxins La Miel carries are FDA-approved for them.
Many patients treat the frown lines together with the forehead so the upper face stays balanced.

Common questions
Frown Lines (11s): common questions
Strong frown muscles pull the brows together and down, and the 11s they leave behind read as worry or anger. Softening those muscles relaxes the expression without changing who you are.
